The T32 is a pre-doc (grad student) and post-doc fellowship.

If you don't already know, I'm a postdoc fellow funded off of an NIH T32 fellowship. My department has asked me to talk about the process of applying for postdocs a couple times now. This time, I decided to record the presentation. Below is a super informal, non-edited video of me presenting a few slides describing the T32 fellowship. In the interest of making this information accessible to all, I'm posting it here. It is not an exhaustive description of the T32--more like a 'quick and dirty intro'.
Just so we're clear, I'm coming from the perspective of a developmental, non-clinical psychologist. Keep that in mind when navigating this information!
Also, I do not talk about the T32 as a pre-doc fellowship, but please know that you can be funded off of a T32 as a graduate student, too!
Beneath the video I've also included a few links and additional slides on the postdoc search more generally. I hope you find this helpful!

A little more about PostDoc
These are some slides I've made for previous presentations on thinking about PostDoc

There is so much variability in who does a postdoc, why people pursue postdocs, how to search for postdocs, and what kind of postdoc positions are available. I am barely skimming the surface here, but I hope this information at least gives you enough to concretely start thinking about postdoc and whether it's right for you.
Sending lots of love!
